飞来飞去

本书收录本地作家虎威发表于《联合早报》专栏的52篇散文与52张照片。这些文字和摄影，记录了他自2006年8月起始的五年间，频频到国外出差的所见所闻、各种特殊的体验，以及用一颗赤子之心去探索陌生领域的心情。我个人觉得这本书的不足之处就在于他并没有详细描述各个国家的特别之处。对于各国的旅游胜地，他只是快速得描绘了一些他的经历和感想。虽然景物描写并不是很丰富，但是他放了许多照片来代替文字。读者读了别具一格，也不会让读者感到对文字的烦恼。

目送

读了龙应台所写的《目送》以后，我有一些感想，天下无不散之宴席，在生活长之中，我们有悲伤和失落的时候。在篇章的最后一句，“我慢慢地、慢慢地了解到，所谓父女母子一场，只不过意味着，你和他的缘分就是今生今世不断地在目送他的背影渐行渐远。你站立在小路的这一端，看着他逐渐 消失在小路转弯的地方，而且，他用背影默默告诉你：不必追。”这段让人心酸和感动的文字说了：年幼的孩子长大到成人，让她牵挂、让她失落、让她懂得怎么放手。原来，龙应台的“落寞”与儿子、父亲有关。儿子逐渐得长大，离她越来越远，机场龙应台目送儿子的背影一寸一寸地往前挪，直到消失。儿子都不愿意回头看她一眼，感到非常失落。当龙应台大学教授的那一天，父亲开车送她，但是父亲并没有把她送到大学的大门口，而停在侧门的巷边，因为他认为，这种廉价的小货车不是送大学教授的的车子。父亲生病住院，龙应台每个礼拜都去看父亲。有一次，她应台帮父亲清理排泄物，结果让自己的裙子也沾上了粪便。父亲对她的爱和龙应台对父亲的愧歉都告诉了她：不必追。我想到我的父辈们，我现在所经历的目送，都是很简单的凝望。虽然掺杂着不舍和无奈，至少我们都知道归期，至少我们可以聚首，至少这都不是最后一次的目送。其实这也算是一种幸福吧。世上存在独立而完整的心脏，不存在独立而完整的心灵。我们并没有真正的关心自己的父母。所以珍惜和父母在一起的时光。在龙应台的书里，没有好好珍惜父辈们，也许就是这种悲伤的下场。。。。。。

  He was gigantic and scary-looking. Standing about two metres tall, he had shoulders the width of my old dining table before I left my house. His massive chest and

arms were covered with tattoo. he was pinning a crawny man onto the ground. I recognised him. He was my long lost father.Mary screamed. It sent chills down my spines.

I knew it has alerted the giant.
  The giant marched toward me and hold me up in the air. I yelled. He let go of me. Next thing I felt was excruciating pain. John was frightened. he ran down the

stairs and fitted through the hole where we came through. Obviously, the giant cannot fit through. He turned to Mary. He began to kick her mercilessly. For once my

mind was blank. I did not know what to do. I prayed for the godto plant an idea in my head immediately.But God didn't answered my prayers and my father bumped the

giant. He was fighting for Mary.
  I saw! A crossbow. I crawled to it and lift it like my Wii. It was heavier. I want to shoot at his head but it shot his thigh. BOOM ! THE HOLE WAS BURSTED. THE

INTRODUCTION


This picture depicts a crowded beach. Every age of people is here, especially children. It may be it is on weekend or holiday.

Scenario 1: NORMAL

A woman with silky hair is strumming a guitar happily. A girl is listening to it. She is enjoying the music as she has clapped and had a wide grin on his face. The woman with the silky hair can be her mother or relatives.

I felt she is doing the right thing. She respects the woman by listening to her. We need to respect each other in anytime.

Scenario 2 NORMAL

A boy wearing a swimming short is running towards two girls who are building a sandcastle. He is holding a small bucket of water and a spade from the sea.

I think they need water for pressing the sandcastle down

more firmly.

Scenario 3 Wrong and Consequences

Two boys, wearing T-shirts and shorts are playing balls near the sea.

I felt that it is not safe at all. The ball can drop into the sea in any time. If they go and retrieve it, they could be swept away. Last year, I saw an article that reads about a girl wanting to retrieve the hand phone that dropped into the canal. She drowned after a current swept her away. So I suggest that they go other parts of the beach to play.

Scenario 4 Wrong and Consequences

A young girl wearing a swimming costume is sitting on a float, is paddling. A boy is swimming towards her. The boy may be is her brother. It seems that they are playing tag

In my opinion, I felt this is wrong. If the girl fell into the water, the boy needs to take care of this. I suggest that they do not play tag.

Conclusion

Going to the beach is good. But we must also take care, and ensure our safety.

THREE THINGS I AM FASCINATED AT THE SUNGEI BULOH NATURE RESERVE FIELD TRIP

WOW!!!!!!!!!
I am sorry for not blogging for the past two months. I do not have time to blog my daily life. I will blog next time and i will push myself to have more time to do these things.
  Now I will talk about my trip to the SUNGEI BULOH WETLAND NATURE RESERVE -_-!!!!
  I will type about my trip,then my three events that is fascinating and my thoughts.
  My class and i went that on the bus. We take a long time to reach the wetland reserve as we take the long route.Ronnie need get to the toilet urgently and stop at the side of the shop. He beared until the whole face is as though a white piece of paper -#- scary. I have never seen a face much more pale than my sister.
  We reached the nature reserve after a long time that look like hours. 6A had already started briefing by the instrutor. We got a long walk and learn and investigate at the same time on the plants.
 THREE EVENTS THAT I WAS FASCINATED
Firstly, IS THE HALFBEAK
They are tiny and when u use a thing and wave at them. They will swim away in a breakneck pace. That is because they scared of birds as they feel the wind above them.
Secondly, IS THE HORSESHOE CRAB AND THE MUDSKIPPER.
They live in swamps. The mudskipper can swim in water as the same speed as the halfbeak. They can breathe through skin on land. But it had a limited time and also to refill water. Hence they need to be at the shore or near the water when they are on land.
The Horseshoe crab just like a horseshoe + a tail.
They swim peacefully as though they were floating and was in a slow pace .

my holiday diary and today happenings

Holiday...
this what everyone thinks ...
I think i been very happy and sad
our decorations did not win the competition
so sad but i already know we can't win as the others did more and our class look empty and do not have the feel of CNY.
But i accept it i sacrifaced my one week recesses to do the decorations. But i like this activity. everyone cooperate and do the decorations effectively. all in last minute. i wish next time we can do better and not repeat history.
I also went to sentosa.I went with my family and neighbours. First we go for sentosa express and stop at beach station. We lay our stuff on a mattress and play football.
The sand was new and hard. i could not adapt to the ground i could not play well.Anyway it just a game. We do not need to fight for it. then we go to watch the lights and lantern.

today is a new day but it passed very fast. Also very fast will be PSLE
But do not have too much stress or you will not get over PSLE.
study group...
we cannot be soft-hearted when you are leader.
the group memebers just don't listen. i think i need more advice.

Happenings and reflection

I was sleepy today i couldn't listen well. I almost slept at Mrs WEE's class. But the rest of the lesson I push myself up. Wish everybody sleep today and ever.
What i learnt today ...
Mrs Wee was talking about desire and devotion it just about doing thing instead of dreaming. This is what i currently trying to do. But it is more harder than i thought. You first you must overcome the problems you faced and which affects you. My problems are gaming, not fast doing things to get time to do xtra things to improve myself ,to get me complete homework. You get all this done going to have a lot of stress. So that you need to have study group but not everyday. So something need to do yourself, you cannot choose too much. Something i felt so stress is let yourself  off from stress. I had no much time to do that. And problems had been coming to my study group again. We cannot cooperate properly. Everyone want to kick out Kenneth from the group except for Yishen and I. He affect the whole group system. I do want him to be in my group but  3 against 2 . We can't win. So to accept the solution. Yishen maybe will be out of group too.
But they are very annoying. I am very angry of them. AHH.. I am going to do some research and sleep. BYEEE!
